Rules & Guidelines

Requirements for Applicants

  • An applicant is a) either one who has registered for the forums and posted a new topic in the join section, b) one who has joined the RIP chain in Kings of Chaos, or c) one who has applied for and been accepted in either the RIP alliance or its wing alliances in OGame.

  • Those applicants who have signed up for the forums must provide a valid e-mail address on the registration form.  Anyone who does not provide a complete or working e-mail address will automatically be denied.

  • Applicants must have good standing with alliances they have been members of and other Kings of Chaos and OGame players.

  • Applicants will be processed in a timely fashion.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact either your referring member or one of the alliance leaders.  However, please do not try to speed the application process along!  Any and all applicants WILL receive notification denoting their acceptance or denial.

  • If the applicant is accepted according to rule c listed in the first paragraph, you will have fifteen (15) days to join the forums.  You can find the forums in the menu on the left side of this page or at http://forum.restinpeaceclan.com.  If you do not register for the forums and make a join post there, you will be removed as a member.

Requirements for Members

  • Members MUST join our forum.  This is mandatory

  • Members should NOT attack other members in our chain.

  • ACTIVITY IS A MUST!  Participate with your fellow members in events, participate on our forums, participate on IRC in our channel, and last but certainly not least, be polite to your fellow players.

  • If you have been removed from Kings of Chaos or OGame due to inactivity, you will be placed on our inactive list.  However, you will remain as an active member if you let us know ahead of time that you will be away for more than fifteen (15) days.

  • Since we change our names from age to age and from universe to universe, please let us know if you do have a nick change so we may update our records accordingly.

The Rest In Peace Clan Code of Conduct

  • No use of vulgar language, racial or religious slurs or graphic sexual innuendo.

  • No threatening, harassing, berating, or arguing with any other members or players.

  • Do not belittle, demean or personally attack anyone for any reason.  This concerns both individuals AND other alliances.

  • Do not cheat!   In addition, do not ever accuse anyone of cheating; strange plays sometimes happen and proof is needed when making accusations.

  • Do not perform any disruptive behavior or make any lewd comments.

  • The use of the forums follows the same protocol as the rest of these principles.  Violating any of the above principles may result in the loss of your forum privileges for thirty (30) days.  Also, messages that include the words "resignation" will be deleted immediately.

  • Malicious behavior towards clan members or the clan itself will not be tolerated, nor the misuse of any e-mails provided.  Performance of this action is cause for immediate termination of your membership.

If we all follow these few important rules, we are demonstrating respect for all Kings of Chaos and OGame players, which shows the way we want to be treated as a player and a Rest In Peace member.

If any Rest In Peace member is caught demonstrating any of the above infractions, the following may occur:

  • 1st offense - verbal discussion and warning concerning the infraction.

  • 2nd offense - verbal discussion with a written warning and possible 30-day clan suspension.

  • 3rd offense - 30-day clan suspension with possibility of termination.

  • 4th offense - Member termination from the clan.

These are merely guidelines to enhance not only your fun experience on Kings of Chaos and OGame, but also for other players playing those games.
